Controlling Weaver's farm is often the key to winning the game against him, and Phantom Assassin is well-equipped for the job. Her Stifling Dagger applies constant pressure and slows, setting up an eventual all-in. While Weaver is normally slippery with Shukuchi, PA’s Phantom Strike closes the gap instantly, making it hard for him to feel safe anywhere on the map. This constant threat of a surprise jump can force Weaver to play far more defensively than he'd like, slowing down his item progression and map impact considerably.

Later in the game, the duel comes down to execution. A well-farmed Phantom Assassin often builds to deliver enough damage to kill Weaver before he can react with Time Lapse. In response, Weaver has to itemize for survival, aiming to withstand that initial burst so he can create distance and kite her. If Weaver can survive PA’s opening attack, his superior mobility and sustained damage can turn the fight around.
