Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Winter Wyvern wins the Puck vs Winter Wyvern matchup: Winter Wyvern beats Puck in 52.75% of 9,671 ranked matches.
Picking a dive hero like Puck means you're relying on quick magic burst to set up a kill. Winter Wyvern directly complicates that plan. A well-timed Cold Embrace can save Puck's target from physical follow-up after a Dream Coil, often leaving Puck dangerously exposed. Winter's Curse is even more disruptive, capable of turning a perfect initiation around by disabling key allies or saving the primary target. This same clash of purpose is why the two heroes can struggle on the same team. However, both of Wyvern's saves have long cooldowns. A patient Puck can still find solo kills or wait for these abilities to be used before committing, creating windows to dictate the fight.
