Queen of Pain vs Timbersaw

How this matchup plays

Trying to be a durable frontline hero, Timbersaw relies on his Reactive Armor to soak up physical damage. This defense, however, offers no protection against the heavy magical burst that Queen of Pain brings to a fight. Her Scream of Pain and Sonic Wave both deal magic damage, completely bypassing his core survivability tool and hitting his raw health pool. While Timbersaw needs trees to move effectively with Timber Chain, Queen of Pain’s Blink is unconditional, letting her control the engagement, dive him at will, or escape his attempts to get close.

This makes Timbersaw a priority target for Queen of Pain from the laning stage onwards. She can consistently threaten to kill him with a single spell rotation before his health regeneration has a chance to kick in. To survive, Timbersaw is forced to either play passively or invest in early magic resistance items, which delays his own damage and slows down his game plan. He needs to catch and burst QoP before she can act, but her superior mobility makes that a tall order, leaving her to dictate the terms of most fights between them.
