Queen of Pain vs Spectre

How this matchup plays

Trying to split-push or farm a lane alone becomes a death sentence for Queen of Pain once Spectre gets her ultimate. Spectre's Haunt provides global vision and an engage on QoP, no matter where she is. The usual escape plan of using Blink is severely punished; Spectre can simply use Reality to teleport to the illusion that spawned on Queen of Pain's initial location. From there, a Spectral Dagger is often all it takes to close the remaining distance and secure the kill. QoP's magic burst also starts to fall off against Spectre, who naturally reduces all incoming damage with Dispersion and builds items that make her even tougher.

This forces a massive shift in how the game is played. A Queen of Pain who should be constantly pressuring the map is instead forced to huddle with her team for safety, slowing her farm and limiting her impact. Spectre gets to farm much more freely, knowing one of her biggest threats can't play her own game. The only real path forward for QoP is to group up early and try to end the game by taking objectives before Spectre gets too farmed to handle. If the game goes late, Spectre's advantage only grows.
