Queen of Pain vs Tinker

How this matchup plays

Picking a mobile burst hero into Tinker is a classic plan, and Queen of Pain has the right tools for the job. Her Blink allows her to close the gap instantly, and a well-timed Sonic Wave can kill Tinker before he has a chance to react and Rearm his escape. She can also use Shadow Strike to harass him and keep vision during a chase. However, the matchup is far from one-sided. Tinker's Laser is a constant threat in the laning phase, making it difficult for Queen of Pain to secure last hits and creating an early farm advantage for him.

The game becomes a race against the clock. Queen of Pain wants to hit her level six and key item timings to start hunting Tinker across the map, shutting down his split-pushing and farming. If she gets ahead, she can control his movements and starve him out. Tinker's objective is to survive these early ganks, get his core travel and farming items, and then play from the safety of the trees. Once he reaches a certain point, he can push out lanes so effectively that it becomes very risky for QoP to ever find him, allowing him to take over the map.
