Queen of Pain vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Playing Queen of Pain into a Zeus feels like you have a tracker on you all game. Her entire playstyle revolves around blinking in for a kill and using that same mobility to escape, but Zeus counters this perfectly. A single Lightning Bolt or his global Thundergod's Wrath reveals her position, even after she blinks away. This makes juking in the trees or repositioning for a second Scream of Pain impossible. All the survivability Queen of Pain gets from her mobility is stripped away, leaving her as an exposed target.

Early on, Zeus can make laning difficult with constant spell spam. Later, Queen of Pain’s gank attempts are often ruined by a timely Thundergod’s Wrath, which can turn her aggression into her own death. In teamfights, she can’t safely jump the backline because Zeus will both reveal and obliterate her before she can get a full combo off. The only real plan for QoP is to get a Black King Bar and a hard lockdown, then hope she can execute Zeus instantly before he or his team can react.
