How this matchup plays

Running at Snapfire with Static Link often feels like a waste of time. Her Firesnap Cookie provides an instant leap for herself or an ally, immediately breaking the tether before Razor can steal any significant damage. This single ability forces a difficult choice: either try to bait out the cookie before committing the link, or ignore Snapfire completely and hope she uses it on someone else. If Snapfire ever uses her cookie aggressively to set up a kill, she leaves herself wide open. Razor can then easily close the distance and drain her damage, turning her from a threat into a target.

This standoff defines their interactions all game. In teamfights, a patient Snapfire can save a core from Razor's initiation, completely shutting down his game plan. On the other hand, a patient Razor can wait for the cookie to be used, then punish the out-of-position Snapfire or her now-unprotected ally. While all this is happening, Snapfire can use Mortimer Kisses to zone Razor or force him to move, while he can use Plasma Field to apply pressure from a distance. The fight often hinges on who commits their key spell first, making it a true test of nerve.
