Razor vs Spirit Breaker

How this matchup plays

Struggling to control the map against Spirit Breaker can really slow down Razor's game. The constant threat of Charge of Darkness means Razor is never truly safe farming a lane alone, which can delay his key items. Even if Razor manages to apply Static Link as a counter-initiation, Spirit Breaker can often use Bulldoze for the extra speed and status resistance to break the link and reposition. The initial impact from the charge, combined with a follow-up stun from a teammate, is frequently enough to burst Razor down before he can effectively drain any damage.

This forces Razor to play much more reactively, sticking closer to his towers and supports than he might want to. A good Razor will try to bait the charge near his team to turn the gank around. However, Spirit Breaker usually dictates the pace of these engagements. The matchup hinges on whether Razor can survive the initial burst and get tanky enough to stand his ground. Spirit Breaker’s whole goal is to disrupt Razor's farm and repeatedly pick him off with his team before he reaches that powerful state.
