Razor vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst a target with the Avalanche and Toss combo only to get Static Linked in return is a disaster for Tiny. He’s a melee hero who has to commit to a fight, which plays right into Razor’s game plan. The link drains away all the physical damage Tiny builds up with Grow and items, leaving him unable to follow up on his spells or fight back effectively. Without a reliable way to break the tether, Tiny is forced to either try to run away while being drained or stand his ground as a massive creep with no right-click threat.

Throughout the game, Razor can actively seek out fights with Tiny, knowing he holds the upper hand. A successful link before a major teamfight can completely neutralize Tiny’s initiation and damage potential. This forces the Tiny player into an awkward position, either having to avoid Razor entirely or needing his teammates to provide lockdown before he can even think about contributing. Even a Blink Dagger for a surprise jump is risky, as Razor can often survive the initial burst and immediately turn the engagement around with his own spells.
