Razor vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map often comes down to a duel of cooldowns between these two. Razor's game plan revolves around landing a full Static Link, draining damage, and running at his target. Weaver, however, is built to escape that exact situation. Shukuchi provides invisibility and a burst of speed to easily snap the link, while Time Lapse can reset any damage Razor manages to apply and put Weaver out of position. The entire interaction is a stalemate waiting for one player to mistime an ability. If Weaver gets caught without his escapes, he has no way to fight back, but catching him is the entire challenge.

The lane phase can be a simple farm-off, as neither hero has a clear way to dominate the other early on. Later, the game becomes a strategic dance. The Weaver player will look for opportunities to split-push and pick off supports, avoiding a direct man-fight with Razor at all costs. Meanwhile, the Razor player wants to force teamfights and objectives, creating situations where Weaver can be silenced or stunned long enough for Static Link to do its work. Success usually comes down to which team better supports their core's plan.
