Ringmaster vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Pulling an enemy toward your team with Ringmaster's hypnotic device feels like a powerful play, but against Zeus, it’s a trap. Zeus wants his targets to be grouped together, and Ringmaster's initiation does that job for him, creating the perfect clump for Arc Lightning to bounce through. He doesn't need to find a good angle when his opponent literally drags heroes into a kill zone. Even Ringmaster's escape tricks offer little safety; a quick Lightning Bolt provides vision for Thundergod's Wrath to finish him off, so there's no reliable way to dodge the constant magical damage.

This dynamic repeats throughout the game, making teamfights incredibly difficult. A successful Ringmaster initiation on a single hero can easily turn into a lost fight as Zeus unloads his spells on the newly gathered group. The only real plan for the Ringmaster is to somehow catch Zeus completely alone and out of position, which is rare since Zeus prefers to play from the backline. Zeus doesn't have to adapt his own game at all; he can simply wait for Ringmaster to create the opportunity for him.
