Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Shadow Shaman wins the Shadow Shaman vs Skywrath Mage matchup: Shadow Shaman beats Skywrath Mage in 52.52% of 84,633 ranked matches.
Catching Skywrath Mage with a Hex is almost always a death sentence. Skywrath relies on casting his full sequence of spells to be effective, but Shadow Shaman's instant disable completely shuts him down before he can react. Without an escape and being naturally fragile, getting Hexed or even held by Shackles means Skywrath is an easy kill for Shaman and his team. This dynamic makes laning and rotating extremely dangerous. Shadow Shaman's entire game plan of using a Blink Dagger to find pickoffs perfectly preys on this weakness. While Skywrath has a silence, Shaman's ability to instantly delete him from a fight is the defining interaction here.
