Timbersaw vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Relying on trees for mobility is a huge liability against Snapfire. Her spells, especially Mortimer Kisses, flatten the very woods Timbersaw needs for Timber Chain escapes. This leaves him stranded and vulnerable. On top of that, Snapfire deals almost exclusively magic damage, which completely bypasses the Reactive Armor he builds up to survive fights. Instead of a durable, slippery hero, Timbersaw becomes a slow target with no way to tank her burst. She systematically dismantles his entire defensive toolkit before he can even get into a rhythm.

This problem starts in the lane, where Snapfire can deny him safe spots near the treeline and set up kills with a well-aimed Firesnap Cookie. Later, Timbersaw can't safely split push or cause chaos because her ultimate can always find an angle to force him out into the open. A Timbersaw player has to play incredibly cautiously, ceding map control wherever Snapfire is posturing. His only real plan is to catch her completely out of position, but that's difficult when she dictates engagements from long range.
