How this matchup plays

Catching a Sniper who has found a safe position is a common problem, and Silencer offers a direct answer. A well-timed Global Silence creates the perfect window for a team to close the gap and kill the glass cannon before he can react. Without that global, however, Silencer struggles to apply his other spells. He often can't get close enough for Arcane Curse or Last Word to matter, while Sniper can comfortably attack from a distance, using Assassinate to finish off anyone his team has weakened.

The entire matchup revolves around this dynamic. Silencer and his team look for opportunities to force a fight with the global, hoping to collapse on Sniper. In response, Sniper’s team works to protect him, and he learns to position defensively, expecting the silence and trying to survive it.
