Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Skywrath Mage wins the Skywrath Mage vs Storm Spirit matchup: Skywrath Mage beats Storm Spirit in 54.85% of 28,540 ranked matches.
Trying to zip away with Ball Lightning gets completely shut down by Skywrath Mage's instant silence. Once caught by Ancient Seal, Storm Spirit has no way to dodge the incoming Mystic Flare and follow-up burst damage. This dynamic defines the matchup from the very beginning. In lane, Skywrath can constantly harass Storm, making it difficult for him to find farm or a good level six timing. Later, any attempt by Storm Spirit to initiate is easily punished. Skywrath can turn the gank around from the back lines, leaving Storm stranded and vulnerable in the middle of the fight, unable to use his spells to escape or deal damage.
