How this matchup plays

Mortimer Kisses is a direct answer to a hero who wants to stand still, which is exactly what Sniper does. A well-placed ultimate can zone Sniper out of a fight or kill him if he can't reposition fast enough. The slows from the globs make escaping difficult once he's caught in the open. However, Sniper's own attack range is massive, and a smart player can often position far enough back that Snapfire can't get in range to start her ultimate safely. The interaction forces a constant game of positioning and vision control between these two long-range heroes.

This dynamic defines most teamfights. Snapfire is always looking for an angle to bombard the enemy backline, while Sniper is trying to set up on high ground or behind his team where he can't be easily reached. Success for either hero depends heavily on their team's control of the fight. If Sniper's allies can get onto Snapfire and interrupt her ultimate, her threat is neutralized.
