Snapfire vs Spectre

How this matchup plays

Feeling safe on the back line is a luxury Spectre doesn't allow. When Snapfire sets up for her ultimate, Haunt can create an illusion right on top of her. This forces an impossible choice: continue channeling Mortimer Kisses and likely die to the illusion, or cancel the spell to try and survive. Spectre’s Dispersion also punishes any attempt to burst the illusion down, reflecting damage back onto the already fragile Snapfire. The illusion is tough enough that it can’t be ignored, effectively neutralizing her from a global range and turning her into a liability.

This dynamic warps how teamfights play out. Snapfire wants to contribute her long-range damage, but she is always a primary target for Spectre. As the game progresses, the Haunt illusion often becomes strong enough to kill Snapfire outright, especially if she's caught alone and taking Desolate damage. For Snapfire to have an impact, she must stay glued to her teammates for protection, which can make her own positioning awkward. Spectre, meanwhile, can join any fight from anywhere on the map, making Snapfire's core game plan very difficult to execute.
