Snapfire vs Troll Warlord

How this matchup plays

Preventing Troll Warlord from taking over a fight often comes down to kiting and distance, which is Snapfire's specialty. Her Mortimer Kisses can create a huge zone of slows that Troll doesn't want to walk through, and a well-timed Firesnap Cookie can save an ally he's trying to lock down. The problem for Snapfire is that Troll Warlord's own plan directly counters this. Once he gets a Black King Bar, he can activate it with Battle Trance and run straight through her ultimate to kill a priority target, completely ignoring her attempts at control.

This creates a tense mid-game dynamic. Snapfire and her team play to delay and poke from a distance, trying to force out Troll's BKB early or catch him out of position before a fight. The advantage leans toward Troll Warlord because his commitment is simpler and often more decisive. While Snapfire needs good positioning and timing from her whole team to be effective, Troll can single-handedly turn a fight by pressing his buttons at the right moment and making himself immune to everything she can throw at him.
