Snapfire vs Tusk

How this matchup plays

Committing with Snowball onto a key target feels awful when Snapfire is on the other team. Tusk relies on trapping a hero with Ice Shards and bursting them down, but Firesnap Cookie provides a perfect escape for her or an ally, often leaving Tusk stranded and out of position. Even if he manages to get close, Snapfire can use the same ability to create distance for herself while stunning him. This constant threat of disengage completely dismantles Tusk's primary game plan, forcing him to find a perfect opening that rarely comes.

Throughout the game, this dynamic forces Tusk to play passively. He can't reliably lead the charge because any target he picks can be saved. Snapfire, meanwhile, gets to play from a comfortable distance, posturing with Lil' Shredder and saving her spells for his aggression. In teamfights, she can stay far in the back, using Mortimer Kisses to control the fight from outside Tusk's effective range. His only real hope is to catch her completely off-guard when her abilities are down, while she simply needs to hold her cookie for his initiation.
