How this matchup plays

Controlling mid-game tempo feels like a constant trade. Void Spirit can often dodge Snapfire's biggest threats, like the impact from Mortimer Kisses or the stun from Firesnap Cookie, by using Dissimilate. This makes him a slippery target to lock down and kill, allowing him to keep up his pressure across the map. However, Snapfire doesn't need to land everything to be effective. A well-placed Firesnap Cookie can force Void Spirit out of position and into her team's waiting disables. Her Lil' Shredder also makes him much easier to kill with physical damage if he ever does get caught, stripping away his armor.

The matchup often hinges on vision and initiation. A Void Spirit who gets the jump on an unsuspecting Snapfire can often burst her down before she can react with her spells. He'll look for isolated targets to maintain momentum. In response, Snapfire wants to stay grouped with her team, using her ultimate to control choke points and force Void to engage into a prepared defense. A successful fight for her involves baiting him in, then using Cookie to stun him or save an ally he dives on, turning his own aggression against him.
