Spirit Breaker vs Templar Assassin

How this matchup plays

Getting stunned by Greater Bash through a full Refraction is the core of the problem here. Templar Assassin relies on blocking damage instances to survive, but Spirit Breaker's stuns aren't stopped by her shield. A successful Charge of Darkness means he gets on top of her and can chain multiple bashes, preventing any escape. Since the charge also provides vision, trying to juke with Meld is pointless; Spirit Breaker will see exactly where she is and keep attacking. Her primary defensive tools are effectively disabled before the fight even starts.

This dynamic completely dictates the pace of the game. Templar Assassin wants to farm lanes and jungle camps alone to accelerate her item timings, but Spirit Breaker makes this incredibly risky. Any time she pushes out, she's a target for a cross-map gank that she has few answers for. She is forced into a much more passive game, delaying the items she needs to take over. Her team has to play reactively to save her, which is tough against a hero who can initiate from anywhere without warning.
