Templar Assassin (TA) Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Templar Assassin (TA) in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Templar Assassin, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Templar Assassin is a burst carry whose Refraction blocks damage and amplifies hits, Meld reduces armor for a big strike, and Psi Blades cleave through lines. She's strong into immobile, low-AoE heroes: Timbersaw, Nature's Prophet and Tiny can't deal with her burst. TA is hard-countered by AoE and scalers that beat Refraction: Spectre — one of her worst matchups — out-scales and reflects, while Wraith King, Phoenix and Phantom Lancer strip her Refraction charges with AoE and illusions. Draft tip: Templar Assassin is a strong mid-game burst carry into single-target drafts; she's hard-countered by Spectre, AoE (Phoenix), and illusion line-ups.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Templar Assassin hardest are Wraith King, Spectre and Phantom Lancer — Templar Assassin wins only 39.0%, 39.8% and 40.1% of ranked matches against them.
