Storm Spirit vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst Storm Spirit with an Avalanche-Toss combo often feels like a gamble. Tiny has all the tools to delete a hero who gets caught, but Storm's entire kit is built around not getting caught. The matchup frequently comes down to a split-second interaction: if Tiny lands the initial stun, Storm is almost certainly dead. If Storm dodges with Ball Lightning, however, Tiny is left with his spells on cooldown and becomes a very vulnerable target for Storm to zip on. It's a pure test of initiation and reaction from both players.

This standoff continues throughout the game. A smart Storm Spirit plays with more respect, aware that one mistake means instant death, forcing him to be more selective with his aggression. A patient Tiny will hold his spells, waiting for that one opportunity to lock Storm down. As a result, neither hero can fully dominate the other. Each one forces the other to play cautiously, which can prevent them from snowballing off their usual ganking patterns. The game often slows down around them, waiting to see which one blinks first.
