Terrorblade vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Laning against an Undying is always tough, but it's especially rough for Terrorblade. The constant strength drain from Decay makes an already fragile hero even easier to kill. This pressure often forces Terrorblade out of lane or into the jungle earlier than he'd like, slowing down his farm. Once teamfights start, Tombstone becomes the main problem. The zombies can quickly overwhelm Terrorblade's illusions, and their slows make it difficult for him to position or escape. He doesn't have the attack speed early on to clear the zombies and deal with the tomb itself, leaving him vulnerable.

This early advantage allows Undying's team to control the map's tempo, securing objectives while Terrorblade is still trying to catch up. The game plan for Terrorblade is to survive this difficult period and farm towards items that let him ignore the magic damage and slows, like a Black King Bar. Once he has a few core items and levels in Metamorphosis, he can shred through a Tombstone very quickly. A well-timed Sunder can also completely reverse a gank attempt, turning Undying's sustained damage against his own team. It’s a race against the clock.
