Tinker vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Thinking Tiny can just run at Tinker and win the game is a common mistake. While the Avalanche and Toss combo is a huge threat, Tinker has tools to manage it. Laser's blind is a direct counter to Tiny's physical burst, and good Tinker players will itemize to survive the initial magic damage. The real issue for Tiny is simply getting to his target. Tinker lives in the trees and teleports across the map, so finding him before he can blink away after a Rearm is much harder than it looks on paper.

The matchup becomes a game of map control and vision. Tiny wants to group with his team, smoke up, and hunt for that one pick-off that breaks the game open. He forces objectives to draw Tinker out of hiding. In response, Tinker keeps all the lanes pushed out, forcing Tiny’s team to split and react. This constant pressure makes it dangerous to leave lanes to gank and strains the defensive team's resources. Whichever hero dictates the pace of the game and forces the other to play defensively usually comes out ahead.
