Tiny vs Winter Wyvern

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst a hero as Tiny is often an exercise in frustration against a good Winter Wyvern. His entire game plan revolves around isolating and deleting a single target with his combo, but Wyvern's kit directly answers this. Cold Embrace can make his target immune to all physical follow-up, leaving them alive after the initial magical burst. Worse, a well-timed Winter's Curse can turn Tiny's own immense physical damage against his allies, completely reversing a gank or teamfight initiation. His primary strength becomes his team's biggest liability.

Throughout the game, the pressure is on Tiny to play around these major defensive cooldowns. He might get a Blink Dagger and look for a pickoff, only for Winter Wyvern to save the target from half a screen away. This forces Tiny to either wait for the spells to be used elsewhere or attempt to burst Wyvern first, which is risky given her typical backline positioning. Winter Wyvern, by contrast, can hold her abilities and wait for Tiny to commit, effectively neutralizing his threat before it even begins.
