Tiny vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Closing the gap on Zeus feels like it should be Tiny's whole job, but it rarely works out. Zeus fights from well outside Tiny's initiation range, constantly chipping away at his health with chain lightning. The real problem for Tiny is trying to set up a surprise attack. Even with a Blink Dagger, Zeus can easily scout for a hidden Tiny using the vision from Lightning Bolt, completely spoiling the element of surprise. Tiny needs to get close to do anything, and Zeus is built to make that as painful and difficult as possible.

This pattern starts in the lane, where a melee Tiny often can't contest farm against Zeus's constant ranged harassment. Later, the game becomes a frustrating chase where Tiny tries to find a single opening. By the time Tiny has the items to initiate, Zeus will have his own tools like a Force Staff to create space or an Aether Lens to stay even further away. More often than not, Zeus can simply turn and burst the Tiny from a safe distance before the stun even lands, leaving Tiny's team without their frontline initiator.
