Vengeful Spirit vs Void Spirit

How this matchup plays

A fight breaks out and Void Spirit zips in for a kill, but he can't dodge a point-and-click stun. Magic Missile is instant and reliable, holding him in place long enough for a follow-up. Even if he survives the initial burst and tries to escape with Astral Step, Vengeful Spirit can use Nether Swap to pull him right back into the danger zone. Her entire kit seems designed to punish heroes who rely on mobility to survive, making her a direct answer to Void Spirit's usual game plan.

Throughout the game, the Void Spirit player is forced to play with extreme caution. He cannot initiate freely if Vengeful Spirit is alive and nearby with her spells off cooldown. This forces him to either buy a Black King Bar much earlier than he'd like, or to wait for Venge to use her stun on a different target before he can commit. Venge, on the other hand, can simply position herself defensively near her own core heroes, knowing she has the perfect tools to turn Void's aggression into a kill for her own team. The pressure is entirely on him to find a small window of opportunity.
