Abaddon + Alchemist

Why this works

Putting an Aphotic Shield on a raging Alchemist is the core of this pairing. The dispel from the shield can remove a key stun, letting Alchemist continue to chase and fight during Chemical Rage without being kited. If he does get caught and focused, Abaddon’s Borrowed Time provides a safety net, buying crucial seconds for Alchemist’s own regeneration to take over or for his team to reposition. Essentially, Abaddon acts as a personal bodyguard, trying to guarantee that Alchemist gets to use his big item and level advantage without being immediately shut down by disables.

This plan, however, relies heavily on Alchemist having a good start. The pairing offers very little lockdown or offensive pressure in the early game, making it hard to secure kills. A lane with Abaddon is safe, but often passive. If the enemy team decides to group up and force fights before the Alchemist has his core items online, there isn't much this duo can do to stop them. Abaddon can keep one hero alive, but he can't save a whole team from a bad fight, and the strategy is often too one-dimensional to succeed consistently.
