How Abaddon and Morphling perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Abaddon and Morphling win 48.52% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,603 matches.
Pairing these two often means sacrificing kill potential for redundant layers of defense. Morphling is already one of the most durable carries due to Attribute Shift, making him a low-value target for an Abaddon looking to have a big impact with Aphotic Shield or Borrowed Time. While the dispel is nice, Morphling would much rather have a teammate who can offer reliable lockdown to help him secure kills, or buffs to amplify his own damage. Abaddon doesn't bring that kind of offensive setup. His kit is best used to protect fragile heroes who get initiated on, not a slippery carry who can often save himself, resulting in a passive lane and a team that struggles to dictate the pace.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
