Abaddon + Necrophos

Why this works

Pushing towers with this duo is unusually safe, letting your team control the map tempo. Necrophos wants long, grinding fights where his Heartstopper Aura and constant Death Pulse healing can wear opponents down. Abaddon enables this perfectly. An enemy trying to burst Necrophos has to chew through an Aphotic Shield first, which buys critical time for him to turn the fight. Focusing Abaddon is often worse, since Borrowed Time will trigger and heal Necrophos and the rest of the team, punishing the enemy's aggression.

This durability means Abaddon and Necrophos can group up early and force objectives, creating a walking fortress that's hard to dislodge from a lane or the Roshan pit. The enemy's best response is to avoid a direct confrontation. They'll need to try and split the map or get a clean pick-off with a chain of silences and disables before any shields or ults can be used. If they commit to a head-on fight against this pair without a massive initiation advantage, they're likely going to get worn down and lose.
