How Abaddon and Techies perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Abaddon and Techies win 52.58% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 14,843 matches.
Trying to lock down and kill Techies is a lot harder with an Abaddon on his team. A well-timed Aphotic Shield can dispel a crucial stun or silence, giving Techies the window he needs to escape or use Blast Off! to counter-initiate. Later in the game, Abaddon’s durability draws a lot of attention. Enemies often waste key spells trying to burst him down, only for Borrowed Time to activate. This chaos creates the perfect opening for Techies to unload Sticky Bombs and place mines on distracted targets. Abaddon provides the space and protection that lets a fragile damage-dealer like Techies operate safely.
