How Alchemist and Monkey King perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Alchemist and Monkey King win 45.79% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 7,950 matches.
Gifting Monkey King an early Aghanim's Scepter provides a huge damage spike for Wukong's Command, but the pairing often struggles with mismatched timings. Alchemist’s game plan revolves around farming stacks with Greevil's Greed and avoiding fights until he has key items. Monkey King, on the other hand, wants to be an active, aggressive force from the early game, using Tree Dance to set up ganks and create pressure. This conflict means Monkey King is often fighting without his carry, or Alchemist is forced to react to fights before he's ready. Their strategies don't naturally overlap, making it difficult to build and maintain momentum together.
