Alchemist + Tinker

Why this works

Facing both Alchemist and Tinker on the enemy team creates a sense of urgency. The game feels like it's on a clock, where if both heroes get their items, the map becomes impossible to play on. This pressure is often misleading. Both heroes are two of the most farm-intensive cores in the game. Alchemist needs to occupy huge swathes of jungle and a lane to accelerate his farm, while Tinker wants to constantly be pushing out waves across the map with Rearm. They inevitably compete for the same limited resources, slowing each other down.

This shared greed makes the early and mid-game incredibly fragile. The rest of the team is stretched thin trying to create space for two demanding cores, often leaving one of them exposed. A coordinated enemy team can easily exploit this by taking objectives or invading the jungle, knowing their opponents are divided and under-farmed. While the dream for this duo is to have two heroes farming the entire map, the reality is they end up splitting one hero's worth of resources, leaving their own team at a significant disadvantage.
