Alchemist + Zeus

Why this works

Playing these two heroes together creates a lot of tension over farm. Both Alchemist and Zeus want to occupy safe parts of the map and accelerate their item timings, which can starve your other lanes and supports. The entire game plan hinges on Alchemist using Greevil's Greed to farm an early Aghanim's Scepter for Zeus. This single item is the main reason to pair them, as a fast Nimbus provides global map presence that few other heroes can match. Without that specific interaction, the two don't offer each other much.

The success of this duo depends entirely on tempo. If the enemy team plays passively, Zeus gets his Scepter, sets up kills with Nimbus, and creates space for Alchemist to get even richer. Your team can then snowball with a massive gold and experience lead. However, this lineup is very vulnerable to early aggression. Neither hero provides lockdown or a strong frontline presence. Aggressive opponents will often try to pressure your lanes, invade your jungle, and end the game before Alchemist and Zeus can get their core items online.
