Anti-Mage + Leshrac

Why this works

Playing the map together can feel awkward for this pair. Leshrac hits a major power spike with his first few items and wants to group up, push towers with Diabolic Edict, and force fights with a running Pulse Nova. Anti-Mage, on the other hand, needs to avoid these exact situations to farm his core items, especially Battle Fury. He can't contribute much to those early pushes. This leaves the team in a difficult spot, often having to choose between fighting without their main carry or giving up map control while waiting for him to come online.

This tempo clash defines the game. While Leshrac is trying to create pressure, Anti-Mage is farming the opposite side of the map. If the rest of the team can't stall the enemy and create space for both heroes, the game can spiral. The enemy team can pick off Leshrac's group while they are weaker, then turn their attention to a still-underfarmed Anti-Mage. It relies on the other three heroes playing perfectly to bridge the gap between Leshrac's mid-game peak and Anti-Mage's late-game arrival.
