Arc Warden + Bristleback

Why this works

Focusing down a Bristleback who is running at your team can feel impossible when Arc Warden is around. A well-placed Magnetic Field on top of Bristleback makes him incredibly resilient to right-click damage, forcing enemies to either reposition or disengage entirely. This protection lets Bristleback stay in the fight longer, applying more stacks of his slow and Quill Spray without fear of being bursted by physical attacks. Arc Warden can also use Flux to help lock down a fleeing target that Bristleback is chasing, creating a decent single-target threat.

This duo can excel at creating a strong front line for sieging towers or controlling Roshan. The Tempest Double can apply these same effects, letting the real Arc Warden contribute from a safer position. However, the combination is heavily reliant on positioning and is much less effective against lineups with heavy magical burst, which can ignore the Field's protection. Enemies will try to kite Bristleback out of the zone or focus their spells on the vulnerable Arc Warden instead. This makes fights hinge on cooldowns and positioning from both sides.
