How Arc Warden and Death Prophet perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Arc Warden and Death Prophet win 50.10% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 5,744 matches.
Pairing two strong tower-takers often seems like a clear path to victory, but it falls apart in practice. Death Prophet wants to group up and run at objectives with Exorcism on a set cooldown, forcing teamfights. Meanwhile, Arc Warden is at his best splitting the map, farming safely, and applying pressure with his Tempest Double from a distance. This creates a constant strategic tension. Either the team plays Death Prophet’s fast-paced, five-man game and pulls Arc away from his ideal farm patterns, or they play Arc’s split-push style, leaving Death Prophet’s ultimate feeling wasted or used defensively. Both heroes are greedy and end up competing for the same resources, slowing each other down.
