Why this works

Placing a Magnetic Field on Phantom Assassin seems like a perfect setup, giving her the attack speed and evasion to win a fight. The reality is often less clean. Both Arc Warden and PA are farm-dependent cores, meaning your team might struggle to find enough resources on the map for everyone. Smart opponents will also recognize that the field is stationary; they can simply disengage, wait it out, or use magic damage to burst Phantom Assassin down from outside its protective radius. The ideal scenario is strong, but it's conditional and requires the enemy to play into your hand.

This dynamic means the game often comes down to space. Arc Warden has to use his Tempest Double to apply pressure and farm away from the team, creating room for Phantom Assassin to safely hit her item timings. If the enemy team applies early pressure and forces fights before this duo is online, they can crumble. Their success depends heavily on the rest of the team to survive the mid-game and control the map. When it works, PA can use Phantom Strike on a slowed target and clean up, but if they get behind, they tend to fall behind together.
