Arc Warden + Skywrath Mage

Why this works

Stacking Arc Warden's Flux with a slow from Skywrath Mage can isolate a target, but the real connection is the magic amplification from Ancient Seal. It increases the damage from both Flux and any Spark Wraiths the target runs through. With a Tempest Double online, the potential magic damage from two sets of spells is considerable. However, the combination offers no hard lockdown. Any hero with a dispel, spell immunity, or even a way to group up with an allied creep can negate much of the threat. The silence and slows aren't always enough to guarantee a kill.

This duo's game plan revolves around finding pickoffs. Skywrath Mage is strong early and can help create space for Arc Warden to farm his core items. Once Arc has his Double, they can hunt together. The problem is that their power spikes don't perfectly align, and their strategy is predictable. Enemies will learn to play together to avoid being isolated for Flux. If the opponent has good defensive supports or builds items like Force Staff and Glimmer Cape, it becomes difficult for Skywrath and Arc Warden to find the openings they need to be effective.
