How Arc Warden and Viper perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Arc Warden and Viper win 48.21% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 11,319 matches.
Pushing for objectives in the mid-game often exposes why this lineup struggles. Viper wants to be front and center, applying pressure with Nethertoxin and forcing fights. Arc Warden’s game plan is the opposite: he wants to farm safely and split-push from a distance with his Tempest Double. This leaves your team in a constant state of compromise. Either Viper is taking a fight outnumbered, or Arc Warden is being dragged into brawls before he has the items to contribute effectively. They both also want to occupy the same farm-intensive core role, putting a huge strain on the team's resources and often leaving the draft without a true initiator or durable frontline.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
