Why this works

The threat of this duo's teamfight potential can create a lot of space. Opponents are forced to play spread out and cautiously once Axe and Enigma get their key initiation items, which makes it harder for them to group up and push objectives. This constant pressure can allow your own team to secure towers or control parts of the map more freely. The enemy knows your game plan is to land a big combo, so they will often be forced into a more reactive and defensive posture, waiting for you to make the first move.

That game plan revolves around a simple, effective setup. Axe’s Berserker's Call is a fantastic tool for locking down and grouping up enemies, creating a perfect target for Enigma’s Black Hole. It removes a lot of the guesswork for Enigma. The main reason this isn't a guaranteed win is the reliance on two long-cooldown ultimates. If the enemy baits out one, survives, and then fights back, or if they have enough disables to interrupt the Black Hole channel, the whole plan can fall apart quickly.
