Axe + Huskar

Why this works

People might see two aggressive cores and assume they’ll trip over each other, but the opposite is often true. The core of this pairing is how perfectly Axe can set up a kill. Berserker's Call forces a key enemy to stand perfectly still and attack him, which is the ideal window for Huskar to jump in with Life Break. For those few seconds, the target can’t run, can't use defensive spells, and can’t kite the Huskar, letting him stack up Burning Spears for free. Axe provides the hard lockdown that Huskar’s own kit is missing.

This leads to a very proactive game plan. The goal for Axe and Huskar is to move together, find an isolated hero, and simply delete them off the map. This style can build a huge lead by creating constant pressure and favorable small-scale fights. The main risk is that it's an all-in strategy. If the enemy team sticks together and has enough saves to survive the initial Berserker's Call combo, both heroes are left exposed with their biggest spells on cooldown. This makes their attempts to take over the game a real coin toss.
