How Axe and Timbersaw perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Axe and Timbersaw win 44.88% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 8,025 matches.
Stacking enemies with Berserker's Call for Timbersaw's spells seems strong on paper, but their fighting styles often clash. Axe wants to lock everyone down in one spot to end a fight, while Timbersaw thrives by zipping around the edges with Timber Chain, dealing sustained damage over a longer brawl. This basic conflict is made worse by the fact they both want the same job. As two heroes who excel in the offlane, they compete for the same farm and map space from the very beginning. A team rarely has enough resources to support both an Axe and a Timbersaw, leaving the draft feeling greedy and unbalanced.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
