Axe + Storm Spirit

Why this works

Facing a Berserker's Call often means you're stuck watching your health bar drop. When Storm Spirit is on Axe's team, that drop happens much faster. Axe provides the perfect lockdown, grouping enemies up and holding them still for a moment. This gives Storm a clean window to Ball Lightning onto the pile and unload his damage without immediate risk. The combination of a guaranteed taunt from Axe followed by Storm Spirit's high magic burst makes deleting a specific target very straightforward, at least on paper.

The issue is that both heroes can function as initiators who want to set the pace of a fight. Axe wants to jump on multiple heroes to create chaos, while Storm excels at picking off one isolated hero. Their ideal scenarios don't always align, and a failed attempt can leave both heroes exposed with key spells on cooldown. A lot depends on their coordination. If Axe calls a target Storm can't burst, or if Storm zips in before Axe is ready to commit, the whole sequence falls apart. They can enable each other, but they don't solve each other's core problems.
