Bane + Necrophos

Why this works

Choosing these two heroes together creates a simple, effective kill condition for your team. Bane offers one of the longest, most reliable single-target disables with Fiend's Grip, holding a priority target completely helpless. This gives Necrophos a perfect window to apply damage with Death Pulse and let his Heartstopper Aura wear the victim down. The combined damage from Bane and Necrophos sets up a guaranteed kill for Reaper's Scythe, as the target can't escape or use items to avoid reaching the threshold.

Once both heroes have their ultimates, they can dictate the map's tempo. The constant threat of being deleted by the Fiend's Grip and Reaper's Scythe combo forces enemies to play defensively and avoid getting isolated. This pressure opens up opportunities to take towers or control Roshan. The enemy team's main counterplay is to either burst Bane before he can channel his ultimate or have specific heroes who can save a gripped ally. For the Necrophos and Bane side, the plan is to find one key kill and then immediately leverage the numbers advantage.
