Batrider + Invoker

Why this works

Setting up a Sun Strike on a target in Flaming Lasso is the core of this combination. It's a reliable way to secure a kill on a single hero, which can be useful for ganks. However, the synergy often stops there. An Invoker focused on control spells like Tornado doesn't benefit much from Lasso, and even for a burst-oriented build, Batrider's pull can sometimes move the target out of a well-placed Meteor. The heroes have a basic interaction, but it doesn't always line up with Invoker's more complex spell combinations, leading to a fairly neutral outcome.

This duo relies heavily on coordinating pickoffs in the early and mid game. If Batrider and Invoker can find and eliminate key targets, they can create a lead. The problem arises in large-scale teamfights where their goals can diverge. Invoker might be looking for a multi-hero Cataclysm or Deafening Blast, while Batrider is focused on pulling a single, high-priority enemy out of the fight. This lack of a cohesive five-on-five plan means they neither amplify nor hinder each other in a significant way, making their performance together very situational.
