Beastmaster + Disruptor

Why this works

Trying to combine ultimates often leads to them canceling each other out. Primal Roar provides a great single-target stun, but it also shoves all other nearby enemies away. This is the exact opposite of what Disruptor wants. If a key hero is caught in Kinetic Field and Static Storm, a follow-up Roar from Beastmaster can knock their allies out of the area of effect, saving them from the damage and silence. Both heroes offer strong initiation, but their spells are powerful on their own and frequently work at cross-purposes when used together.

This core conflict makes their teamfight plan feel disjointed. Beastmaster typically wants to dive deep to find a target for his Roar, but in doing so he scatters the enemy team. Disruptor, meanwhile, is looking for enemies to be clumped together so he can land a decisive multi-hero ultimate. The result is that one hero's big play often undermines the other's. Instead of a clean setup and follow-up, you get messy fights where your own control spells are working against each other, making it difficult to execute a clean fight from start to finish.
