Beastmaster + Nature's Prophet

Why this works

Committing two heroes to a summon-based push creates a very predictable strategy. Both Beastmaster and Nature's Prophet want to use their units to pressure towers, but this makes the team's entire game plan vulnerable to good wave clear. If the enemy can handle summons, both heroes lose their main purpose at the same time. They also tend to build similar aura and pushing items, which feels redundant. The team invests heavily into a single type of pressure, leaving it exposed if that strategy gets countered early.

This lineup struggles because it can't easily pivot to a different plan. In the mid-game, the goal is to group up with an army of Treants and Boars to take objectives. However, a single well-placed spell can wipe out that entire army, giving the enemy a massive gold swing and halting the push completely. The team lacks the tools for a traditional teamfight or a defensive high-ground hold if the initial pushing plan fails. Beastmaster and Nature's Prophet are left with long cooldowns and no way to apply pressure, making it difficult to recover.
