Why this works

Accelerating Phantom Lancer's farm is the main goal here. Bounty Hunter's Track provides a huge gold infusion from early kills, which helps Phantom Lancer secure his core items like Diffusal Blade and Manta Style much faster than he normally could. This early item timing is critical for PL to start taking over the map. Bounty Hunter also provides crucial vision on key enemy heroes, allowing Phantom Lancer and his illusions to focus down the correct person in chaotic fights instead of getting kited or wasting damage on the wrong hero.

The game plan revolves around creating space. Bounty Hunter roams the map from the start, disrupting enemy lanes and looking for pickoffs. This pressure keeps the enemy team reactive and pulls attention away from Phantom Lancer, giving him a safer laning stage. Once PL has his items, the duo becomes a menace. Bounty Hunter finds a target, Track is applied, and Phantom Lancer can commit his entire illusion army knowing the target can't escape with invisibility or by juking into fog. This turns mid-game skirmishes into a reliable way to build an insurmountable lead.
